Great sushi and nice people. It has a cute little bar too if you want a drink. Nice staff. Good place all around

I left a review a few weeks ago for dinner and it was amazing! I wanted to share another review....I had a catering opportunity for 15 people that wanted sushi. I have never used Yokohama for catering and wanted to give them a chance due to the fact that the dinner was so good. They did not disappoint....food was spectacular, of course, amazing choices with sushi rolls and of course phenomenal customer service! Not only will I frequent Yokohama as my number 1 sushi restaurant, now they will be my catering partner as well:). TY Yokohama!! See you soon!

i have been in this restaurant many time and as far as the food is concerned, there is nothing negative, at least the dishes that I had. Now the bad, their service is great to a fault, meaning that they rush you the hell out the minute you step into the restaurant. Therefore, if you don't mind being rushed, then that's great go, you will love the food but if you are meeting friends or want a leisurely meal, I suggest going somewhere else. I get that they are busy, and want to turn their tables fast but not at the expense of my eating confort.

This place is absolutely amazing! Jenny is a wonderful hostess and the atmosphere inside has a soothing, contemporary vibe. The shrimp wonton soup is one of our favorite items on the menu-it is homemade and tastes amazing. Any meal ordered off the menu is five stars because the flavors and colors in the dishes are just as good as they taste. The desserts are delicious as well! If you plan to visit, go before 5pm because the place packs out! We make we weekly trips here because we love it so much.

The best dine in or take out Japanese food in Commack! Restaurant is authentic Japanese style, feels like you're there in Japan. Reasonable prices for excellent quality. Wait staff is friendly and attentive, always a pleasant experience.

Hands down the best freshest sushi around! Tony & Jenny are the best!!! Jenny is always so sweet & remembers everyone's name! The place is always busy. Recommend making reservations.

I came here with my husband last week and was impressed by the quality of the fish. Everything is so fresh and WOW- the king salmon and toro was melting in my mouth with each bite.

Can't rave enough about this joint. The quality of their fish, the service and ambiance is the perfect setting for a date night. I would suggest coming in on the weekdays to avoid the big crowd.

I was meeting up with two friends on a weekday night at 6PM. This place is located in one of those outdoor mini shopping plazas (not sure if that's what you call it). There was plenty of free parking out front and we were seated right away. They have both seating indoors and outdoors but we opted to sit inside. There is a nice ambiance inside (low lighting, romantic) and the noise isn't loud where you have to yell in order to have a conversation with other people at the table. I did not use the bathroom but I know there is at least one since my friend used it. The servers were attentive and the place looked very clean. Between the 3 of us we had 3 appetizers (Grilled Eggplant, Crispy Calamari and Steamed Gyoza), a Tiger Roll, a Curry Chicken/Shrimp Udon Soup and a Shrimp Teriyaki Dinner Bento Box. I was surprised at the amount of eggplant for the appetizer! Everything was delicious! The only thing is the tempura in the bento box needed some sort of sauce (looking back I guess I could have tried some soy sauce?) but it didn't come with anything and was bland just as is. Overall, we were happy with what we ordered and would definitely return.
